Cellular Forensics

A large police agency in SC was concerned that their homicide investigation into the suspect’s cell phone was not complete. After reviewing their case and the steps they took with the mobile phone evidence retrieval and presentation, we were able to reassure them that they had performed everything correctly and suggest that they resume with confidence their prosecution of the murder suspect.

Our company was contacted by the Solicitor of a nearby county in regards to a double homicide case. After assisting in the retrieval of a vital text message and the subsequent guilty verdict delivered on the suspect, we were again contacted to retrieve various pictures from the suspect’s phone. The suspect claimed that he had killed an additional five women between Florida and Ohio. Result: We were successful in retrieving several pictures from the phone, one of which was identified by the suspect as a victim in Florida. This was later confirmed by police.

A criminal defense attorney from a very well know city in the USA was concerned that the cell tower records he was receiving from the opposing side were not what he needed. We advised him of exactly what he needed, what these records were called and exactly where he could get them. He was ecstatic, and his fears were abated because now he now knew what he needed.

A very large and well known government law enforcement department requested our assistance in learning how mobile “spyware” works and how it can be delivered to a mobile phone and subsequently found. Result: Our Company was beneficial in assisting this agency and making their agents more productive in their dealings with this malware and its usage.

A large and prominent police agency in the west hired our company to train their “CSI” investigators on cell phone forensics. Besides providing them with state of the art equipment and software, we were able to provide each member with the best digital signal protection equipment that they desperately needed to shield any suspect phone from outside intrusions. Cellular Forensics

A prominent government subcontractor utilized our training services in Mobile Phone Forensics. The responsibility of this particular security division in this high tech company was to seize and examine unauthorized cell phones that were smuggled into nuclear power plants. Our company was able to provide the security personnel with the tools and additional skills needed for them to quickly and easily ascertain if secret pictures had been taken and transmitted to the enemies, which would place the security of the nuclear facilities at risk.

Malware Detection

A woman who has been harassed by a former boss for numerous years contacted our company and said that she was very concerned that all her cell phones were being monitored. We examined all the cell phones and related material she and her husband provided. We were able to determine that her phone calls were indeed being monitored and listened in on by another subject. Result: The attorney for our client presented our comprehensive findings in court where the client was suing this former boss for numerous civil rights violations. After learning of the evidence we obtained, the boss decided to settle out of court for an “undisclosed amount” of money. Success!

Cell Tower Consultation & Analysis

Our agency was retained to assist a law firm that was attempting to prove that their client (an insurance company) was wrongfully accused of activity that the plaintiff was actually a party to and not, as she claimed, a victim of. Result: We were able to guide the law firm through the maze of paperwork that they had received. The first day we got the case we were able to advise the attorney that they had not been provided with the proper cell tower documentation. We were then able to show them the correct forms and the correct wording to use to request the proper data needed for a cell tower examination. Case is still pending.

Family Case Studies

Cellular Forensics

A private investigator working a child custody case forwarded a mother’s cell phone to us. Hidden on the phone were various nude pictures of particular sensitive areas. Our firm was able to retrieve the deleted pictures and identify the actual date/time and camera that the pictures were taken with. The camera was the mother’s phone. Result: The evidence retrieved assisted both the investigator and the attorney in the fight for the children.

A mother whose son was serving our country in Iraq was concerned that her daughter-in-law was being unfaithful to her son. After the daughter-in-law gave the mother back her borrowed cell phone, the same phone was brought to us for analysis. Result: We were successful in retrieving several key pieces of evidence that showed the daughter-in-law’s infidelity.

Malware Detection

A mother going through a nasty child custody case was concerned that her ex-husband had planted mobile spyware on her telephone. After finding too many coincidences in her life and with her ex appearing in places only her closest friends knew of, she sent her phone to us for examination and analysis. Result: We were able to determine that the phone had no intrusion software on it. We assisted her in finding the real leak, namely, her small child that was always present when she was presenting sensitive information.

A woman going through a high profile divorce was in fear that her husband was monitoring all her mobile phone communications from her iPhone. We conducted an extensive and time consuming examination. Result: We were able to determine that her phone had not been compromised, and we assisted her investigator in locating other areas where her information could have been compromised.

This IT Security detail was charged with making sure Intellectual Property was not leaving the facility through an employee’s cell phone.

A large subcontractor for the US Government sent students to our class to learn how to extract mobile phone data from various mobile devices. The students were part of the company security that was in charge of investigating subject’s phones that had trespassed in vital, secure areas. Our company was able to provide them a thorough and complete course to enable them to recover the needed data.
